CONCORD MINUTEMAN RAIL TRAIL ︎︎︎
. Beneath Boston's shadow, the path unwinds,
. Minuteman's trail, where freedom finds.
. Through Lexington's fields, history's tale,
. Concord's echoes, where the winds prevail.

. Walden Pond, a reflective retreat,
. In nature's silence, existence sweet.
. Decordova's sculptures, whispers in the pines,
. A cycling journey, where solitude aligns.

This route travels all the way between Boston and Concord along the entire length of the Minuteman Rail Trail beginning on the Somerville Community Bike path and passing though the towns of Davis, Arlington, and Lexington. On the way back, the route diverges to loop around Walden Pond, the Gropius House and the deCordova Sculpture Park before passing through the Minuteman National historical park and returning to the rail trail.

There are some optional dirt segments near the historical park that can be skipped by staying along the paved roads. With so many interesting destinations, it is highly recommended to stop at at least a few of these if you haven’t been to them before.
